The National Center for Women & Information Technology Announces Partnership With Arizona State University’s AZNext Program

BOULDER, Colo., May 2, 2023 (Newswire.com) - The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is excited to announce a new partnership with Arizona State University's AZNext Program. AZNext is a workforce accelerator program offered by Arizona State University that provides workforce training for IT, Cybersecurity and Advanced Manufacturing jobs. The program provides training at no cost and also provides certificate exam fee reimbursement to qualified applicants. Together NCWIT and AZNext are offering training programs that include both virtual/online and in-person training as well as hands-on learning in a lab environment. The program offers options for acquiring industry-recognized credentials to help individuals stand out in their current job or future career aspirations. This opportunity will be shared with the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Community, which consist of over 22,000 women, genderqueer, and non-binary technologists from high school into the early workforce.

About NCWIT: The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is a nonprofit community of nearly 1500 universities, companies, nonprofits, and government organizations nationwide working to increase women's participation in computing and technology from K-12 and higher education through industry and entrepreneurial careers. NCWIT convenes, equips, and unites change leader organizations nationwide to increase the influential and meaningful participation of girls and women — at the intersections of race/ethnicity, class, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, and other historically marginalized identities — in the field of computing, particularly in terms of innovation and development.
